- lmw - 06-01-2011 Hey guys thought you might like to see some videos of the new Brey-Krause project car at NJMP. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYwhOTz9tk0&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0G_QkkY-wPg&feature=related - ccm911 - 06-01-2011 I just was checking out the photos on Pelican. I can't believe how snotty some of those folks were with their questions. I for one, think it is a really cool car, with an excellent(Peter Dawe) pedigree. Great job! - lmw - 06-01-2011 Thanks for your input, it is nice to hear some complements on it. - dwhipple - 06-01-2011 Thanks Chris. I realize it is a little different than most people's fantasy car. We built it as a durable driver's ed car. It is fast and a blast to drive. Dodge - ninjabones - 06-01-2011 Cool car... how about some details on the build? - dwhipple - 06-01-2011 There is a series of pictures on Pelican's 911 forum. If you guys want them posted here, I'll ask Lee to do it. Basically it is a '77 tub with a 3.2 and a 915. - lmw - 06-02-2011 The concept was begun with building a safe, fundamental car. One that would provide a good learning curve for a 911 novice, as well as a car that could entertain an experienced driver. The car was to be a non-wide body, 915 gearbox, and torsion bar 911. Nothing was really set in stone once the project began except for those parameters. The tub (I believe) is a 76. When it came to BK it was a retired club race car. We cut the old cage out and dipped it. It received a ton of restoration when the cage was being put in. - lmw - 06-02-2011 fresh off the truck - lmw - 06-02-2011 cleaning it up - lmw - 06-02-2011 new cage |
