Hey guys,

Thanks for the steering wheel advice.  I just put a new Momo on and it feels great.  Next qeustion.  I have put on new Dansk Heat exchangers (retro style without cat. performance is awesome!)  I am having trouble fashioning heater hoses that work adequately.  Any advice.  Right now I have flexible metal tubing, like for a dryer, coming from the left exchanger to the heater input box (pardon my poor description).

Aaron,

I'm not familiar with the Dansk heat exchangers.  So I may be a little off as I'll relate to the SSI's.

The stock system on a 3.2 will have two heat exchangers and the one on the passenger side will cross over in front of the engine and combine into the cat.  From there the cat will dump into the rear muffler.  The heat system is also fed from one side (the drivers side) as it comes down in one large pipe and then splits into two via one large metal pipe that leads to the front (rear of the car) of the heat enchangers.

When you replace all this stuff with the SSI's (retro stuff) you have to back date some of the pieces.  Here's where it would help to know a little about the Dansk system.  But I'm guessing all of the stuff you need is avaialbe.

Here's a suggestion if you can't get it figured out.  There is a tech session scheduled early next month at Dougherty's.  Come on down and let's see if we can't figure it all out.

The Dansk are virtually identical to the SSI's from what I understand.  I believe Dansk actually made them for Porsche.   I look forward to seening everyone at Dougherty's.
