- Thorvinsnw - 05-24-2012 My 924 is having some hesitation problems under a load, meaning only in gear. I already gave it a full tune-up, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air, fuel filter, oil change. Also put cleaner in fuel. Runs fine, but hesitates in gear, also the tach stopped working at the same time. Is there a connection to the two problems? Has anyone else had this happen and if so I would really appreciate any info. - trevornaidoo - 05-30-2012 You should post in the rennlist and/or pelicanparts 924 forum as well - Ben951 - 07-26-2012 DME might read the tach/use info it is no longer getting and put you in some sort of limp mode. Need to go to a tech forum. - cjbcpa - 07-26-2012 COnsidering what you have already swapped out, could be a DME or harness problem, especially of both are original. Where are you located? I might be able to recommend a shop. CB RE: 924 Hesitation - MikeKling - 02-13-2014 Provost Motorsports really has developed a niche in servicing 924's. They have built and maintain several as Club Race cars. I would suggest ringing them up and ask their advice. 609-298-3555. They are located in Bordentown, NJ. RE: 924 Hesitation - michael lang - 02-14-2014 I don't know those cars too well but what you are describing sounds very much like some sort of sensor failure. Possibly a coolant temp sensor or maybe a Mass Air Flow Sensor. What have you tested and what have found? |
