- 914dave - 12-02-2011 I have 2 oil coolers that need fittings welded on them for a 914-6 conversion. I'm looking for a competent shop to weld, clean and pressure test them. I'm in the Willow Grove area but am willing to travel for a good shop. Who have you had good expriences with? Thanks Dave Toppin 215.932.2463 - dmano - 12-08-2011 Performance Chassis in Pottstown/Limerick talk to Doug or Jim. They do the best welding in the area and trust them completely. - 914dave - 12-08-2011 Thanks for the info. I ended up using S & W race cars in spring City - dmano - 12-08-2011 Slippery and Wobbly are good but P/C is really good. They build the best roll cages on the East Coast. - TwentySix - 12-09-2011 dmano wrote: Quote:Slippery and Wobbly are good but P/C is really good. They build the best roll cages on the East Coast. I'd say that honor goes to Piper Motorsports http://www.pipermotorsport.com/services.asp - dmano - 12-09-2011 Sorry but Piper is not even close to the work they do at Perfromance Chassis. I have been in the racing world my whole life and have seen a lot of cages and chassis being built and P/C has the cleanest and most innovative work I have seen/used to date. They will build anything that has to do with metal. |
