- Craigs*84 - 03-25-2012 .....if you don't win anything you get forced to take the picture.... More pictures here.... the last page of the thred. http://rtr.mywowbb.com/forum3/3181.html - csmith74 - 03-26-2012 You didn't win a glass but third place in your class is nothing to sneeze at. Bring a glass to the next race and I'll fill it with beer for you. - MikeKling - 03-26-2012 Congratulations! Nothing better than going to another club's event and cleaning their clock. We did that a few years ago in Delaware. - betegh9 - 03-26-2012 Congrats guys!........ I remember a number of years ago when I went to the Chesepeak Challenge. I was new and no one knew me showing up with a run down old long hood 911. To my surprise, I took a line thru the course that was a little risky, different than every one else's line, but made sense. When I passed the finish, my car back fired (as usual) and stalled out. I thought that I broke something, but looked up to the timing and scoring table seeing the number crunchers in amazement and a few seconds later the anouncement: "there is a new DTD". No one matched my time within 1 full second. Took home a nice coveted trophy that I still cherish. Chesepeak region cringed every time I showed up since. FTD's come very infrequently, but if one thinks outside the box and a slightly different line, it can make the difference. - arena - 03-29-2012 Strong showing guys... I was hoping that RTR would become known in the area for being fast drivers, and in that event we more than proved it! I can't wait for April 22nd.. |
