I am heading up tomorrow (Friday), staying over locally, so I can help, too. What time are setter-uppers planning on arriving at the site?

Hey, Trevor & Craig:
Small change in plan. I didn't realize when I suggested the rest stop that there is no way to turn around; Colin & I would have to drive down to Quakertown, turn around, then head northbound just to get into the right side of the plaza. Soooo, if one of you guys would be kind enough to give me a call on my cell phone when you're a mile or two away from the Lehigh Valley exit Colin & I will be waiting on the northbound shoulder of the on-ramp. Same time, 6:45(ish). I'll PM you with my cell phone number. Thanks, Chuck

Hi Brian Minkin,

My name is Al and I just joined PCA and received my membership number yesterday. I live in Newtown, Pa and we would like to watch the autocross tomorrow. What time are you starting and how long will the event last. Also is there an address that I can input in the GPS to get there. Thanks.

Al

Hi Al, I'm not Mr. Minkin, just a lowly AX-er, but welcome! Here are a couple of links for the event and the tricky triangle.

Here is the link for MotorsportReg's listing for the AX - http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm/event/event.advert/uidEvent/A96DD097-C7BF-DD22-8CA325B542912A59

Here is the link for the Pocono Raceway - http://www.poconoraceway.com/

It's easy to get there - just take the NE extention to the Pocono exit (route 80), then take 80 east to exit 115, then take 115 south, towards lake harmony. Look for Long Pond Rd, on the left. The track entrance is on the right.

The drivers are expected to be there around 8:00am, the AX should start around 9:15-9:30am. If you want to caravan up get in touch with Trevor or Craig, or check with the guys who are heading up early.

Thanks for the info. I will probably find my way there tomorrow morning . No need to convoy. I checked the motorsporreg site and it has the details indeed. I know also that the registration was closed last week. I would have wanted to join  but I only found out this week. Anyway, I will be satisfied to just watch some runs and see the raceway and know more about the Porsche group.

Thanks again,

Al
