Starting on the banana arm's & spring plate removal...

Every thing is coming off easy, thank goodness.

The spring plate bushings are in Really bad shape. The rubber is hard as a rock with some rust fused in it. Good thing it didn't start wearing the metal away..

Hay... why is that torsion bar white ??? :?

Oh... That's why its white... Sometime in its life 27mm bars were installed. I guess they didn't get around to replacing the fronts.

Factory rear for 1984 is 24mm & fronts are 19mm.

Side by side old & new. The machining is actually better on the old bar....:?

After wiping off the grease they are in perfect condition ! Smile (at least the left is I haven't seen the right side yet)


Anyone want to do some parts trading ?? Cool

 Im looking for some black armrests and door pockets .
