- pmajka - 02-21-2007 Its getting that time again when people will be bleeding thier brakes in preparation for DE season. I realised my Speed bleeder bottle sits in my Garage. My Garage is moist. Chances are there is moisture in my Bottle. I can see it in the hose. How do i make sure my bottle is dry before putting Moistened brake fluid in my Car. - Marty Kocse - 02-21-2007 Flush it with a little bit of Denatured Alcohol - my Motive bleeder reccomends that stuff on the box. You can pick it up at any Walmart or store that has solvents. - Tony356993 - 02-22-2007 Denatured Alcohol - available at fine Pharmacies. ![]() |
