Looking to get my original Fuchs refurbed. Anyone have a good experience with a local business?

Thanks, I sent them an email the other day but no response yet. I'll give them a call.

Before you go any further, check the markings to ensure you have four real Fuchs. Just sayin'.....

Hey Chris. Yup, they are real. The rear ones being particularly rare/valuable being 16x9's with a 911 part number not the 944's.

**correction, they are 16x8's.

Wheel Collision wants about 1800 dollars to exchange the wheels. Anyone know any other local refurbers that maybe a bit cheaper. I know of some great shops recommended out in CA that will restore with factory finish for 200 or less, but would have to ship them.

There is a place in Bath, PA that you will need to contact. I am unsure of the name, but there is a pretty big list of satisfied customers in my little group.

Chris, Wheel Collision is in Bath, so probably the same place you were thinking. Just don't understand their pricing. For about 400 bucks more than their refurb prices, you can buy a complete set of wheels from them.

Hold tight, Adam. I am getting you another resource.

Adam - Call Wheels America in Upper Darby. They were used by a buddy at work who has an M3. They charge $140 per wheel.

I find that $1800 figure to be outrageous. If you paid that much, you would feel like Warren Beatty did in Deliverance! Squeal like a pig boy!
