Selling my 2002 Trailex Model 7541.
It comes with the following:
1. Surge Brakes
2. Aluminum Diamond Plate Storage Box
3. Tire Rack – Including Two Dead Bolt Locks
4. Universal Front Canvas Stone Shield
5. Raised Winch Platform (Winch NOT included)
6. Aluminum Wheels Including a Spare Tire also on an Aluminum Wheel
7. Aluminum Fuel Jug Carrier for Two Five Gallon Jugs
8. Four (4) 36" Axle Straps with 12” Cordura Protective Sleeves with D Rings
9. Four (4) 6' Ratchet Tie Downs with Snap Hooks on Both Ends
I currently tow it with my Mercedes GL350 (Diesel), but I used to tow it with a standard Mercedes ML350…either way, it tows like a dream. The trailer itself only weighs 845 lbs. and it can carry 4,100 lbs.
Dougherty’s (Trailex dealer/Porsche shop in West Chester, PA) replaced all five tires with Goodyear Marathon tires in 2011 (along with repairing the leaf springs) and gave it a clean bill of health. The mounted tires have less than 4,000 miles on them and the spare has never been used. In August 2012, Provost Motorsports in NJ replaced the master brake cylinder, checked all wiring, replaced all defective light bulbs, etc.
I am taking the next step and getting an enclosed trailer, otherwise I would keep this trailer forever.
Equipped as it is, and purchased NEW, the retail price is $9,889.00 + shipping. I’m asking $5,100.00 and I can deliver within a 100 mile radius of Philadelphia, PA.
