For Sale: 1995 (993) C2 - TRM - 01-17-2014

1995 Porsche Carrera C2 6MT
Mileage: 80,392
2nd Owner
Options and Specs – See PDF of Window Sticker

Service Records: The original owner did all Porsche recommended services up to 65,000 miles (records included). Other than some repairs I’ve done regular oil and filter changes.

Aftermarket by Previous Owner:
• Some TechArt cosmetic stuff
• Front Strut Tower Bar (I don’t know the make or model)
• Xpel Film on Headlights
• Some sort of really nice Aluminum Gas Pedal
• TechArt Lowering Springs
• Sears Battery Charger (under bonnet – plug it in during winter to keep the battery fresh)
• Custom Porsche Badge Shifter Insert
• Porsche Badge on Steering Wheel – why? Who knows…he liked bling I guess
• Cellular Phone – I’ve removed almost 100% of the system – all that remains is the rear window antenna

What’s New:
• Refurbished 18” Turbo Twist Rims w/ Diamond Silver/Black Finish
• Windshield Replaced in 2012 (see issues)
• Sunroof Motor and Cables replaced in 2011
• Hancook Ventus V12 Tires with 90% tread
• Four Wheel Alignment done in 2012
• Sony In-Dash CD and Satellite Receiver (Serius XM)
• New Focal Speakers and Grills in Front
• DDM 55W HIDs
• Smoke Clear Corners on front + the original Yellow Signal Housings and the Bumperettes
• Turbo S Ducts with Fogs (not installed)
• Wireless Lock/Unlock (2 Fobs)

Issues I’m aware of:
• The new windshield makes noise – due to install and not using enough glue on the bead
• Engine Lid Hydraulic/Spring Assists are worn and need replacing
• Driver’s Side Door Check Strap – it’s-a-clicking and will need repair eventually
• The right rear rim has been “curbed” – a mark about 2.5” long
• Cosmetic stuff (inside and out) indicative of a 19 year old car that was driven

What’s great about this 993:
• I’ve had zero hassles with this car
• If you understand the torque curve and the optimum range this thing is QUICK!
• Everyone knows the 1995 was the best year for the 993 – duh!
• It has been a joy to own, admire and drive
• Turns the heads of everyone and is much respected by the old school air cooled purists

Reason For Selling:
• Just put a 2014 991 in the garage and I cringe at the thought of leaving the 993 outside all year
• I don’t need two weekend fun cars either

Included with the car are the:
• Owners manual & other factory documentation
• 2 Keys + the tiny Valet Key + the original Key Card
• That giant 993 book everyone says is a must have for the 993 owner
• A full set of the electrical diagrams for the 993
• 1 L of Synthetic Oil
• 2 Sets of Genuine Porsche Oil Filters (large and small) and seal rings

Asking $32,500 OBO
