Save the First Week in December - saucerman - 05-20-2014 Our club members are fortunate enough to own one of the finest production vehicles in the world - Porsche, yet there are many around us that are not so fortunate. There are many around us that couldn’t even fathom paying to fill up our tanks with gas because they can’t even fill up on food. This is why I’m asking our Riesentöter Family to join us in “PhilaFrunk for Philabundance.” We are joining with WMMR’s “Camp Out For Hunger” to help fill the food banks of the Delaware Valley to help feed the million or more people in our region who go hungry every day. Join us the first week of December (date to be determined based on Flyers/76'ers schedule 2nd, 3rd, or 4th) by filling your frunk or trunk will nonperishable items (see below) and meet us at the United Artist Theater/Lockheed in King of Prussia at 7pm. At 7:45pm we will Caravan or maybe even police escorted down to Xfinity Live in Philadelphia to the Sports Complex. (76 east, to 476 south, to 95 North, exit at Broad Street) and in array of generosity pop our frunks to help those less fortunate this holiday season. Please ask your family and friends to join us. PhilaFrunk with the gift of food. For those who cannot participate in the caravan we will be receiving charitable donations through our website. Choose products that are in boxes, cans, or plastic bottles and do not have to be refrigerated such as: Canned/ Shelf-stable tuna and or Chicken/meat Macaroni and Cheese Canned/Boxed Pasta Canned Beef Stew Canned Chili Creamy Peanut Butter Jelly Canned Green Beans Canned Corn Canned Fruit Breakfast Cereal and Hot Cereal Non-refrigerated boxed or powered milk/rice milk RE: Save the First Week in December - David Newton - 07-15-2014 As part of out new Dealer Liaison program, we are also partnering with RTR region Porsche dealers to join us in the effort, and so far the response has been extremely positive! Details will be posted as we get closer to the event. RE: Save the First Week in December - saucerman - 08-15-2014 We have a date for Phil-a-Frunk for Philabunance...it will be held on Wednesday December 3rd. More info here.... Please tell us if you are coming by hitting the RSVP button...I want at least 100 Porsches and with over 2300 members in our region we should be able to hit that mark. This is for a great cause and pretty easy to do so please help show some support for the people who need it most.
