I believe that stands for Pre Purchase Inspection and is generally done by an independant 3rd party on pre owned cars. Sellers aren't always as honest as we wish they were and I certainly don't mean that to disparage the dealer mentioned, who has a very good reputation.

Dead On Budman! I've had occasional work done on my Front-engine P-Cars at the Thompson?Holberts dealership, and if I was buying another one of those I'be be content being my own advocate. But since I'm looking as a total different beast I thought I'd get neutral some inputs.
