1973 911 Targa restoration project (local auction) - John from PA - 06-24-2015

Should anyone be interested there is an auction on Tuesday July 7th (9 AM) in Coatesville that includes a 1973 911 Targa. You can see photos, unfortunately of all the auction items at http://www.barrdavis.com/Upcoming%20Auctions/July%207,%202015%20photos.htm

Scroll down and you will see a two views of the car, one looking down on the roof and one more or less a side shot. Then continue scrolling down for some additional and more detailed photos. The auction notice description also states "5700 miles, window and radio missing, some scratches and dings."

The car actually looks pretty decent in the pictures.

The location is at East Coast Asphalt Maintenance Inc.; 120 N. 6th Avenue, Coatesville PA.

The auctioneer (Barr Davis) phone number is 717-442-9221.

That looks like a 74 or later to me. Look at the front parking lights.

You may be correct although I've rechecked the auction flyer and it clearly states 1973. One thing I see to support your comment is this statment, extracted from a Porsche trivia site and referring to model year 1974..."These new bumpers can be identified by the black bellows on each side. The window trim and door handles also changed from chrome to black beginning in 1974."

Definitely not a 73; those were long hood cars. This is most likely a 74, the start of impact bumper cars. The steering wheel doesn't look to be factory.

It's a 75 with 105700 miles. Clear title

Yes, auctioneer emailed me...VIN is 9115211448, and it has 105,700 miles, not 5,700 miles as previously noted.
