Came across this performance driving web site.  Check it out.  Has some good information.

I have been looking for something like that, I started taking the course and realized what time it was, sucks I have to go to work now. I wanted to keeping looking at the website. I know I'm going to go back and finish reading the course material. Brian thanks for finding that.

In the course material on the website they talk about the comparison between understeer vs. oversteer. I would think that the general preference would be to have understeer because all that is really needed to regain control of the car would be to slow down, but it seems that what is really preferred is oversteering. Is that all part of the whole "counter intuitive driving" theory where everything is bass ackwards? I guess what I mean is, is that because it is easier to have momentum maintenance with oversteering?

I really like the comparison that Terry Earwood made in reference to turn in points, whether it be early or late turn ins. Looks like he is trying to say "patience is a virtue". Kind of like turn 6 @ Summit Point, natural instinct at first for me was to hurry up and get through it, but the reality is you really have to exhibit alot of patience in that turn so that you can maintain speed for #7 into #8. Very cool how the pieces go together.
