The schedule for the day will include:

P.S. - Just got this in my email so I wanted to share it with everyone to see if anyone else is going to be going.

EDIT: Just saw there is a thread about this in the auto-x forum. Cross posting it (http://rtr-pca.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=4112).

Does anybody know exactly what exercises they will be doing?

I've never been to one so I'm curious myself. But that said, here's a snippet from the email I received from Corey about it (I underlined the part that I think will help to answer your question)...
Quote:What is a car control clinic? Basically, it's an all-day combination of classroom and driving exercises designed to help you explore the limits of traction, braking, and ultimately learn to better control your car. There will be a skid pad, high speed lane change exercises, braking scenarios, and much more.

Who should attend? Everyone can benefit significantly from the event. Not only is it A LOT of fun to explore the limits of your car, it's a rare opportunity since it's not something you can do safely on a public street. Most drivers have never participated in something like this and when you have you will realize immediately how much there is to learn. You will also walk away with real skills that can make a "life or death" difference on the road in an emergency situation.

Interested in Autocross or RTR's DE program? This event is designed to give you a taste of high performance driving and will have plenty of people on-hand to provide information on these programs.

Instructors and volunteers needed for Apr 9th Car Control Clinic!

If you are not going to Shenandoah and have DE or Autocross experience (you don't need to be a certified instructor) we could use your help as an instructor at the Car Control Clinic. Please register as soon as you can so we know how many students we can accept.

Anyone know if the car clinic is still happening if we do get the snow being called for? Never been to one so I'm not sure what standard operating procedure is with these.

RE: Riesentöter's First Annual Car Control Clinic - April 9 - trevornaidoo - 04-08-2016

I am sure you have all been watching the weather. We are currently looking at an 80% to 90% chance of snow and 10 to 20 mile/hour winds with gusts to 40. While learning Car Control in the snow would be an excellent experience, we also want you to have a positive experience.

Because of that, we are postponing the Car Control Clinic. DO NOT COME TO MONTGOMERY CC TOMORROW. We are working with the college and the Riesentöter schedules for a new date. Details will come shortly.
