Phil-A-Trunk 2019 - 981 S - 11-15-2019

You can't attend Phil-A-Trunk 2019?

Listen up people. On Halloween night our home was hit dead on by an EF2 Tornado. The extent of damage to our home forced my wife and I to move to a one bedroom apartment as the repairs are expected to take months to complete. Despite this I will be at Phil-A-Trunk. Despite the 18 hrs days, the juggling work and dealing with the insurance company, the contractors performing work, the contractors providing estimates, the firms hired to determine the extent of damage and what repairs will be needed and the costs of those repairs, I will be at Phil-A-Trunk. I will be there, utilizing every square inch of the cavernous storage of the almighty Boxster S to haul the food I intend to donate. I will be there with my tires rubbing the wheel wells from the weight of that food. I, however, will not be joining the caravan. I will depart with my fellow autocrossers that volunteered to help prepare for the caravans arrival at the Wells Fargo Center. There are people out there that need help more than I do. I will be there.

So what was your excuse again?

On a sad note, our 11 month old Macan Melanie was injured when the garage windows exploded in on her. She will undergo surgery and recovery at Classic Coachworks at Mclaren. In lieu of flowers, please bring an additional case or three of can goods to Phil-A-Trunk
