2007 Riesentöter AutoX+ Roadshow

Update - 23APR -- APPARENTLY, it's spelt Hershey
The second AutoX event in our 'RTR AutoX+ Roadshow' will be the Central PCA Autox at Hershey in 3 weeks time on Sunday 13th May. Their website says this is the largest single paved area in the state of Pennsylvania.

Directions - aim for the Giant centre on route 39 - Directions to Hershey Giant Center: 100 W Hersheypark Dr, Hershey, PA. 717-534-3911

Start time - 8am, 2 runs groups, plan to finish by 1pm
RTR run group - as per SCCA, we will try to establish an RTR run group at this event - more info to follow -- only issue to note is that Central have asked that we do not have 2 drivers in any car if we want the RTR group as that would screw them up!
Price - $20 for PCA members
Registration - event is limited to 60 cars (ish) so if interested please register early online using link above - I've done it it was easy. Please add a note to say with Riensentoter so we can run in same group.
Parking - suggest we all try to park together - TBC
Safety - you will need a Helmet which must be rated Snell 95 rated or newer, "M" or "SA" (as dictated by SCCA national rules).
PAX Championship- In addition, for those interested, we are also planning to set an ‘RTR AutoX+ Roadshow Championship’ which will be based on PAX scoring system and attending atleast 4 events. Points will be awarded for attendance & final position (based on PAX score rather than group within own group). (small) Trophies, prizes and T-shirts will to be awarded at the end of the year

Count me in.
As my first AutoX ever, the first event at Warminster, was quite the experience -- never had to race during a moonsoon before! Aside from being absolutely drenched, navigating the AutoX course in the howling rain and wind was a hoot. It was an excellent opportunity to investigate the ragged edge of your car's handling, in the ultimate of wet conditions, while not risking rolling it into a ball. Good stuff.
Having said that -- I would like to order a clear, pleasant day.
