KEEP LOOKING!!!!!!!!

Allan, why are you waisting your time looking at cars from a used car dealer? Are you really, having that much trouble finding a car? Okay let me back up for a second, it seems to me that it would make sense to buy the best car one could find & a logical starting point would be a dealer, but if you are going to do that, go to a Porsche retailer not a used car store. Those guys are the best at covering things up. There is one guy in CPA-PCA region who has a used car dealership and all he sells are Porsches, his name is John Witmer, his website is http://www.aicauto.com, I don't know John I have only had a couple of conversations with him at the CPA-PCA autocrosses in Hershey. He seems like he is a nice man and he is very well liked within the Central PA Porsche community. Hopefully this will help you.

I bought my 84  Targa about seven years ago with 65K on the clock.  I paid about $17K for it.  While out driving one day, I came across Westtown Imports.  They had a bunch of 911s on the lot.  There was one silver coupe about the same year as mine.  But it looked like it had gone through a war.  And the mileage was well north of 100K. So I watched silently as the salesman gave his pitch to a nice young couple.  When he was through, I asked him what he was asking for the car.  He said $19,500!  So I took him over to my nice clean example and told him "I just paid $17,000 for mine".

What an idiot!  Do NOT buy any of that garbage he has on his lot!

Call Tim Holt, call Steve Midget, Jay Winsor, Tom Dymant, Dave Coughlin, Dave Redmond and tell thm what you want.

That and a PPI will ensure years of enjoyment from your new toy.

Goto http://www.PCA.com

Click under the regional directory.  Many of the regions have a classified section on them or download their newsletter, that may have a classified section.  Also try http://www.Rennlist.com

I will post some links I have on my other computer late tonight for classified ads,

Jon,

That is a great list - thanks!

I live down the road from them and have stopped by to look at some of the cars he sells and I must say STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THAT PLACE.   They don't call the owner "fix it again Tony" for nothing.

Does he sell Fiats (fix it again Tony)?

I was just visiting here but I too, like Jon's list.
