- geza - 06-23-2007 The only room I could get for Watkins Glen was at the Seneca Clipper Inn. Anyone have any experience there? Are they trailer friendly? - bobt993 - 06-24-2007 Geza, stayed their once......... Noisy. Rooms were kinda musty. Have you tried Longhouse Manor? It is actually much better, quieter, just a little further out of town by the lake. I would say second to the Falls. - catchacab - 06-24-2007 also try the best western in horsehead on Rt 14 - bobt993 - 06-24-2007 True, but that's pretty far from the track. - Brian Minkin - 06-24-2007 geza wrote: Quote:The only room I could get for Watkins Glen was at the Seneca Clipper Inn. They where replacing the roof this past weekend. - Sechsgang - 06-24-2007 Im 20 miles out for this one...kinda sucks...but atleast the place will be nice... - geza - 06-26-2007 Thanks for the responses! The Longhouse sounds nice but they were twice the price. I have simple needs. I did stay at the Best Western and did not like the daily commute. :? - LouZ - 06-27-2007 Couldn't find any B&B with 4 days vacancy. Booked the Hilton Garden by the airport. Well, somebody has to pay for Paris' coming-out party! - Sechsgang - 06-27-2007 you and me pal...you and me...haha - smankow - 06-27-2007 Lou, can you get me an invite? I stayed there a few year ago. It's a nice place and not too far to the track. You certainly have better dining options. |
