- Bill Moffitt - 08-10-2007 We are auctioning off Garage Spaces again this year. There are two spaces per paddock. The highest bids will get the spaces. Go to the Make-A-Wish section of the RTR website to see a configuration of the paddocks. Send in your bids to: bill.moffitt.iii@smithbarney.com Bids must be received by September 10th. Thanks for your help! - Tony356993 - 08-10-2007 Bid sent - Thanks Bill for your hard work. - APXD 30 - 08-10-2007 Just sent mine. Pocono weather is always iffy. - JIMK - 08-10-2007 Did mine too! - larrybard - 08-12-2007 I bid -- but am clueless (so what else is new?) about what it might take to win a space. Maybe that's the intent, to encourage higher bids? Of course it's for a great cause, so nothing wrong with that. - Brian Minkin - 08-12-2007 My bid is in. - Tony356993 - 08-12-2007 Quote:I bid -- but am clueless (so what else is new?) about what it might take to win a space. Once I have bids on all the paddocks, I will post the bids on the Forum. Drivers can use this as a way to see "the market" for spaces and make their new bids accordingly. We have asked for a minimum bid of $200 per paddock in the past. - dmano - 08-13-2007 Looks like the Trak Ho is really becoming a Pimp Daddy, get all the money you can out of this bunch of John's they can afford it. Good job Trak Ho - larrybard - 08-13-2007 TRAK HO wrote: Quote:There are 30 paddocks available (thus 60 Spaces). Once I have bids on all the paddocks, I will post the bids on the Forum. But perhaps you'd want to reconsider such disclosure anyway -- otherwise, logically, what is the incentive to bid high in the first round (other than donative intent, which ought to be the primary motivation anyway), knowing that everyone will have a second chance? |
