Registered.  I know there are out of region folks waiting to jump on this event so register soon.

Well, I sighed up for my first DE event.  I got put on a waiting list.  I wonder how many peeps are ahead of me, and if I will actually make the cutoff....  Do RTR members get dibs over non RTR? as out of club has not been opened yet?

Someone tell me there is a chance!

Be patient 80. Usually they will allow more students as more instructors agree to participate. The instructor are sometimes a bit slow in registering. Tongue

I'm waitlisted as well. Just hang in there 80. Jack and Carol do an excellent job of getting folks registered. Sometimes it just takes some a little while. We still have a month and a half to go, alot will happen in that time and you should be getting your acceptance e-mail. In the meantime, go through the checklist for tech and start doing the things on the list now, don't wait until the last minute to get your car ready for tech because if it fails you may not have enough time to address any items that don't make it through. Best of luck to you.

ok! I am in! this is gonna be sooo cool =)

A few questions, it says from 9-11 does that mean 3 days on the track for a green like me? When do most folks arrive and leave etc.?

If the wife comes along will she be bored out of her mind?  I mean of course we will go out for dinner etc, but these are somewhat long days to be just watching right?  Does anyone else bring along observers?

80

Yes the event is 3 days and yes your wife will get bored. Some guys let the "boss" sleep in and head back to the hotel to pick her up around lunch time. This saves you from waking her @ 6am to get to the track on time. :X

Usually I drive down Thursday night and get a good night sleep and head home Sunday afternoon.

You will have a blast. Enjoy.

See 80, we told you, just hang in there. You getting in means I'm moving up the list. That's a good thing for me. Now, have you gone through the DE Tech checklist with your car yet?

Congratulations!! I hope you have the time of your life.
