Mr. Pres gets some"quote time":

Taken from the above mentioned article

Riesentoter, the Philadelphia area branch of the Porsche Club of America, has requested a date on the track for next year.

Club president Brian Minkin is disappointed that instead of having one longer course, the complex will have two shorter courses of about two miles each. And he says a daily rental is costing the club about $17,000 a day - more than other tracks they use.

But Minkin, who has a 1977 Porsche 911 set up for racing, said it was still an exciting development for car enthusiasts.

It's closer to Philadelphia than the Pocono Raceway, and, he noted, "It appears it's going to be a superior road course to Pocono." [Image: headscratch.gif]

So where will we hold MAW next year?

Do we have a trained spokesperson?

Eric, I would be shocked if the Pocono folks ever read the article.  No need to worry. Plus, since we are not NASCAR affiliated, we will never be a primary customer.  In fact, I would venture to guess that NASCAR pretty much makes the year for them.  Those two races probably bring in a ton of cash.

I'm just suprised he wasn't quoted talking about how he was worried about all of the local deer.

The New Summit 100

Driver and passenger in a Race car (and according to the article Brian believes that he has one) on the track.  Race is 100 miles.  Passenger is armed with a shot gun with 100 rounds. Winner is determined by 50% fastest time 50% confirmed kills (wildlife not other drivers).

BTW, while taking pictures in the bowl at Pocono, I saw a rat running by the wall during the black run group.  It escaped unharmed.

Damm I missed the rat

Yeah, you need to lower your front spoiler down to ground level, small rodents can still escape.

I think the problem is that you already have one of those deer whistles but you installed it backwards, so it actually attracts animals.
