No you can not run a plugged tire in DE.  The proper way to repair a tire is to put a patch inside the tire and not plug them.  Plugs can come out when tires get hot.

Sorry to hear about the rain. Makes the track much more challenging and you need to turn it back quite a bit for the rain.  I will drive in drizzle but if its pouring buckets I always sit out that run group. Hope the guy that hit the wall did not do to much damage.

He didn't appear to have much damage... just mowed the lawn and hit the tire wall.

Now that my tire is plugged by Knopf, can it be salvaged by removing the plug and doing a hot patch from the inside??

I think plugging a low profile tire is a no-no.  Especially at the dealer.

The plug expands the hole so you can not remove it and patch it.  Pluged low profile tires are definetly a NO NO.
