- GTaylor - 09-15-2007 I am considering an AWE unit for my Boxster. Can anyone advise my of their experience with these products or better, with AWE on a Boxster? I have been carefully watching PPBB (Boxster Board) for aftermkt exhaust. What i want includes all the things that are advertised: Lighter weight, power increase and no decraese in appearance (AWE permits use of factory tip) Mostly, and even better exhaust note What I don't want is "resonance" (don't have it now, dont want it) and I dont want too much sound. I think i'd have to hear it on a Boxster before I'd mess with my pride and joy! Maybe I'll ask AWE to advise me when they are scheduling an install?? Thanks gents! - catchacab - 09-15-2007 What are your reasons for getting the exhaust? - Larry Herman - 09-16-2007 Sorry, I can't help you here. Both Fabspeed and AWE appear to make a well built product, but the sound is something that you have to hear, as each has it's own unique tones and resonanaces. - Wellardmac - 09-16-2007 Do a search on exhaust. I believe that we posted links to exhaust audio and video in tyhe last exhaust thread. |
