If the 944 needs a motor look into a Nissan SR20 swap . The red 240 sx that runs with rtr has been running his for 2 years now and besides parts falling off the car the engine works great and is very reliable. It makes over 350 rwhp and is cheap. I have seen him dust well driven 996 gt3s,zo6s ect. The 944 engine makes a great boat ancor.
