Hi Everyone,

RTR is once again running our fall scenic drive through Southern Chester County's Hunt Country on Sunday Oct 12th. We'll end at the Dilworthtown Inn just outside of West Chester for their annual fall wine festival.

Meet behind the Dilworthtown Starbucks between 9-9:45 (please don't park in the areas marked customer parking only) then be off at 10 for a 1.5 hr scenic drive following a brief drivers meeting.

Once we get to the festival we'll have dedicated parking right in the middle of everything - the car show area. Now for the best news, for car show participants, general admission tickets are FREE (a savings of $40 per person) if you sign up before Oct 10th. If you buy tickets at the door, they are $45. Additionally, VIP passes are available for $65 instead of the normal $100 (also before Oct 10th). Banana

So, to get the discount and more importantly to let the festival organizers know how many need parking, please be sure to sign up for your tickets on the festival website here,

http://www.cchosp.com/cchfdn.asp?p=1210

Also, please RSVP on the RTR website here,

http://www.rtr-pca.org/index.php/menu-th...e-festival

so that I know how many cars to expect for the drive. Note, that RSVPing on our website will not purchase the tickets. You need to do that on the festival website. If you want to do just the drive, that's ok too, please let me know when you RSVP.

The tour runs rain or shine! Hope that you can make it.

If you have questions, please pm me here or email to membership@rtr-pca.org.

Paula,
I noticed on the Festival website that when you click on exhibitor for the car show, it comes up with 1 ticket. is that for the passenger also or do I need to get a ticket for Laurie? Please let me know...thank you.

Good catch. Looks like one free or discounted ticket per car. So, if you need a second ticket/weistband, then you'll need to order one. You need a wristband to do any of the tastings. If just hanging out in the car show area you can most likely go without one, but not 100% sure on that.

Hey Paula. Bud here. Last year we were able to get in for free and the "admission" was if you were going to be doing any wine tasting. That free admission included both driver and passenger. Assuming that will be the same this year, Kathleen and I plan to attend. If it's different than last year, we'll just do the drive. Do I still need to do the web site or is this sufficient notice.

Cheers.

Bud

Thanks Bud. That just clarifies what I posted earlier. Ticket/wristband needed to participate in the tastings...

Please hit RSVP on the website (I've got you on the list). Once you do that, Jeff set it up so that I'll get one consolidated list with everyone.

Isn't technology great?
