- smankow - 01-01-2009 Larry Herman's neighbor owns Callahan Lifts. At his tech session, there was one on display and it was portable. No affiliation, just trying to help a brotha or sista out. - Brian Minkin - 01-01-2009 This lift I do not believe will allow another car to be stored under it. Not enough height. But it certainly does have advantages over a scissor lift as far as access to the underside of the vehicle. - cjbcpa - 01-04-2009 There's a Snap-on mid-rise lift listed on Craigslist right now. It's located in Media, PA: http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/tls/980381623.html CB - APXD 30 - 01-09-2009 LouZ wrote: Quote:I'm really leaning towards a mid-rise scissors lift, it will give me 48" under the car. Perfect for sitting on a stool and working on the front and rear unobstructed! I spoke to the guy last year after the vendor night. The price was right at about $1200, however, the clearance is not sufficient to park a Porsche on top of the scissor lift, meaning you lose a garage space. You also have to cut the hose and install the coupling which isn't a big deal. - APXD 30 - 01-09-2009 LouZ wrote: Quote:I'm really leaning towards a mid-rise scissors lift, it will give me 48" under the car. That way you don't lose the garage space. Here's a creative solution that adds an extra work-bench to the garage too. ![]() ![]() - cjbcpa - 03-24-2009 Saw this today for anyone that's interested in a lift. An excellent price if its in decent shape. CB http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/tls/1090021450.html |
