RE: Source for Harnesses - Bill Lehman - 04-17-2013 I also use Teamtech as recommended by Brian and have been satisfied with them. Regarding Hans compatibility, I originally used 3" shoulder harnesses with my Hans and it worked O.K. but I sent them back and had the area that contacted the Hans reduced to 2" width. If I did it again, I would specify a 2" shoulder harness. Simple explanation no mixing of "types". No 3 point on one side and a harness on the other. No stock seat designed for a conventional belt and a seat designed to use harnesses. Whether or not a harness is designed with a HANS device in mind does not bear. Any kind of harness will work with a HANS, some just not as efficiently. RE: Source for Harnesses - larrybard - 04-18-2013 Thanks, Wally! Source for Harnesses - michael lang - 04-20-2013 Larry, if you change you mind about the 5pt harness, I have a pair that are in excellent condition that are valid through next season that I will part with. When you clean out your box, let me know & I will send you my reply. Thanks. |
