Wait a minute, I have two friends there that has black M3's.... it was their first time at Warminster and a little overwhelmed by the size of the lot. Otherwise, it was a lot of fun... I gave Ken a ride on my last run and never had a clean run Sad I could use new tires.

4 courses -

circuit with increasing and decreasing radius corners - learn about late and early apexing

house - with 360 turn on corner of roof - learn to look ahead and faster if wait

slalom - small gaps and big gaps -- just didn't get this - told to turn earlier but struggled

skid pan - round and round until ready to puke

Leant alot about the theory, the car and myself - throughly recommended for newbies like me - even just because got so much seat time (compared to only 3 runs on Sunday - more on that later). Would like to suggest that we contact SCCA to ask them if they will run a course for RTR - only need 20 people to run.

You might want to coordinate with Graham Knight (Autocross Chairman) and make that happen. I'm sure there's a lot of Riesentoter members who wants to participate.

Already discussed with him at Warminster  -- now just trying to determine if sufficient interest as some thought $125 for autoX school was a bit steep -- whereas I thought it was an absolute bargain...

Nothing against Ken, he did a good job. We all just have a different perspective on this, and there's nothing wrong with that. Where I have come from, competitive is judged in tenths and hundred's of a second [Image: thumbup.gif]
My, My, what a condescending reply! I like it! Keep up the good work!!!!!

it's not a condesending reply.  What Elizabeth is saying is that in autocrossing, the competition is tight and is often decided by fraction of seconds, not a few seconds.

As a side note, Ken and Graham entered into the pro class so that their results would not impact the points for year of other competitors.  I didn't look to see how the times would have compared against the class that they "should have" been in.  But, I'm sure they were "competitive"   Big Grin
