- dmano - 01-09-2007 Ok how about going to Arnolds in Oaks, that is next to Valley Forge. They have a great track and new carts that they have updated and are a lot faster. I use to run there every Friday night in a race league, during the off season. We got 2 hrs of track time. 15 guys use to show up every Friday. Maybe we can start our own league? - Tony356993 - 01-09-2007 I think we have been banned from Arnold's. We might have to go as a bowling group. - Wellardmac - 01-09-2007 why the ban? - Hammerin Hank - 01-14-2007 dmano wrote: Quote:Ok how about going to Arnolds in Oaks, that is next to Valley Forge. While it's true the new management has fluffed things up a bit, the karts are still pretty lame. That, and it's like $20 a run. hock: It's saving grace is it's close. Some of the old timers still go on Friday...it's more a social thing at this point, though. The highlight now is going to Max & Erma's for food and drinks, LOL. I wish I could turn back the hands of time....serious fun back in the 90's. :dude: I remember being three feet off the ground, in the old turn 1, about to slam into the hockey wall and thinking "there's no way this place can be legal", LOL. - APXD 30 - 01-16-2007 Hammerin Hank wrote: Quote:I wish I could turn back the hands of time....serious fun back in the 90's. :dude: I remember being three feet off the ground, in the old turn 1, about to slam into the hockey wall and thinking "there's no way this place can be legal", LOL. Hank, You were flying at MA too! I'd make the trip again. It was a lot of fun. - Hammerin Hank - 01-16-2007 APXD 30 wrote: Quote:Hammerin Hank wrote:Another gig at MA is definately in order.Quote:I wish I could turn back the hands of time....serious fun back in the 90's. :dude: I remember being three feet off the ground, in the old turn 1, about to slam into the hockey wall and thinking "there's no way this place can be legal", LOL. |
