What exit? I understand there is a route getting off at Wilkes Barre, then 309 to 29 to 6 to 220 to 17(86).
Unfortunately, I don't know all of the details of the route. Usually followed Wally!

The work is between Lehigh Valley and Pocono exits. Its probably not worth leaving the TP.
