I have attended, and some other member here as well, few events which were plenty of fun. Plus it's always a thrill to show these vete guys what an old porsche can do.
Awesome, I'll get their schedule

Here is their web link:

Their fist schedule event is in June, but I know they run a bit before if the weather is nice.

At $15 for 8 runs, it can't be beat.

$15 for 8 runs? Dayum....

I'm also told that the SCCA's driver's ed program is great because it's like $100 but you run all day long

I think you are misinformed about SCCA Drivers Ed.  The cost and structure are the same as ours.

Our young padawan learner likely means SCCA AX school....

Correct. But nevermind that idea... I think going to the March 18th "Test and Tune" would be better:

Joe, we went to Bear Creek, since it's only a short drive from where we live. It was very interesting to ski in 40 degree weather. It was the first time for my 3 boys to snowboard, however the snow condition was not all that great. I am used to skying in much colder climate (-20 to -25), as I am originally from Canada. We will try again when it colder with fresh snow.
