I'm thinking of driving down to the Porsche Parade in Charlotte in June - has anyone ever been to one of these and how do they generally operate?

I'm mostly just interested in spectating, rather than competing in events.

I'm curious to hear about the experiences of those that have attended previous events.

Thanks!

Parade is a great event. You will see some spectacular cars in the show. There are many other activities to do/see but the show is what you really want to see. I drove the 356 to the Tampa parade and had a blast and I went to Hershey (volunteer) and had fun. Everyone should go at least once but having said that, I'm done with parade for a few years. Generally they are the same cars based on the geographical site of the parade.

Thanks Tony - that's good to know. As you might guess I'm mostly out to see some spectacular cars and take lots of photographs.

I appreciate the insight.
