Well almost done with my track car. Hope to be out this year yet. Here are some shots of the new 650HP motor and heat extractor hood.

Very cool!!!  What is the life expectancy of the engine?  650 HP is just a bit more than stock.  Is this a high stress "grenade" engine, or is it tuned for longevity?

Hi Chris,

Well it is actually under powered. I can turn up the boost to 15lb and make 800 if I wanted to but I won't need it. The car's weight is 2400 lbs so 650 is plenty. I have a real road race 5 speed going in also. Not an overdrive 5th but a real gear. I am only pushing 10lbs but it is after-cooled. The motor IS bullet proof. Wink

What do you stop it with?

6 piston Wilwood's with 14" front rotors and 4 piston Wilwood's with 13" rotors on the rear.
