Oil pressure gauge problems - David 41 - 03-28-2013
1988 944 Turbo
The oil pressure gauge behaves normally for approx 1/2 hour or so then flutters for a few minutes finally dropping to zero. I tried tapping the pane over the gauge and it came back for a minute or 2 then 'died' again.
At first (before tapping the pane) I thought it was the sending unit because warning lights didn't come on, now I'm inclined to think it's actually the guage.
Anyone else experience this?
