Any recommendations on who to purchase a performance chip from for a 3.2 with a cat and muffler by-pass exhaust installed?  Vertex is the cheapest but is it "worth" it.

Thanks, Mark

Weltmeister is probably the most popular and I have not heard any complaints.  A lot of people like Steve Wong's chips as well.  If you have a 3.2 that was produced in 88 or thereafter, it takes a different size chip than earlier 3.2s.  In 1987 both size chips were used.  Make sure you buy a chip that is exclusively for your intake and exhaust setup.

Mark, hands down www.911chips.com Steve Wong knows his stuff. I don't have one in my car yet but in trading e-mails with him and talking with other guys who do have one of his chips, it's like night and day. Definitely on my list of "gotta haves". Go to the Pelican Parts BBS and do a search on his name. Don't waste you money with the others.
