All,
On June 29th the Riesentoter PCA will be holding a charity Planes and Autocross event at Reading Airport in Reading PA.

I'm hoping that you some of you might be able to help us out for our this event. Our annual Racecars of Riesentoter is always a popular event and we are hoping to pull together a similar collection of race prepared cars for our Planes and Porsche charity AX.

The event is in aid of the ALS (aka Lou Gehrig’s disease) Association and all proceeds will be donated to this cause.

As part of the event we will be running autocross, have vendor exhibits, and more importantly we are looking to have proud owners display their fine Porsches next to the planes in the hanger. It's a great photo-op for your car and in in aid of a worthy cause.

To that end we am looking for owners of race prepared Porsches that are willing to attend and show their cars. If you are interested please PM me and we can discuss the details.

Information can be found at the links below.

We hope that you can join us and we would love to have you exhibit your car.

Thank you in advance for any help that you might be able to provide.

Wayne,

Any thoughts on opening this up to "Concours" cars as well?  I know a lot of club members that have garage queens just sitting there itchin' to get out for a good cause.   Maybe it is time to dust the Porsches off and show them off for this occasion.  The hanger in which they will be displayed will be dry and in the shade, perfect location for a super collection of nice cars.

Graham - to be honest, it's open to anyone who is willing to show up with a nice car. Smile

This was the third posting on the topic (on this forum) and I've gotten no responses so far.

We would be happy to have anyone with a nice car show up and have it parked next to a plane ready to be photographed.
