Chris,

I try to remember stuff to mention at the drivers meeting but once I climb up on that table I tend to start forgetting :-)

That's why I always end the drivers meeting by asking for comments from you drivers.  You guys are the ones that see what's going on out there and have first hand exposure to what "issues" need to be addressed.  I only get to see what happens when (if) I'm out on track.  Someone from the drivers meeting is always out there.

Car is prepped and ready to go. After a quick wash, I'll load her in the big white box until Friday. Can't wait, can't sleep.

Do I have a designated driver for Thursday night yet?

you could always call Graham, but you're going forward not in reverse

I agree.  I can't wait for the event except I may have some personal issues that may hinder the weekend.  Hopefully, I know more tomorrow.

Steve,

Good luck. I hope everything works out. I know you are looking forward to the trailer's maiden DE event. If you can make the event, I'll ride with you again if you want. Your line is good, we need to work on braking.

things should work out but the timing is up in the air.

Dear old mom was away last week and ended up getting a blood clot in her leg.  She's in the hospital for 2-3 days (more or less).  I'm trying to get my brother to watch all of the dogs (mine, mom's and sisters).

With any luck, I'll know more tomorrow.  And yes, I am really looking forward to the maiden voyage.  I loaded the car last night with guidance from Katherine and Joe.  I'm hoping that the worst case is that I drive on Friday and get to the track in time for the track walk and drive Sat/Sun.

Steve,

Hope it all works out.

Did a brake flush and put my car in the box last Sunday.  Truck all hooked up and ready to roll.  Now I am trying to cram 5 days business into 3 1/2 days and make sure I am rolling by 1:00 Thursday. Ambitious goal!  LOL

Gave the baby new rear tires and her first bath in a month, but the light failed before I could get all the rubber streaks off the front. That'll be for tomorrow. Watched The World's Fastest Indian on DVD--just the thing to encourage us old guys. Tomorrow is going to take a looooong time to pass.

Steve, good luck and hope to see you there at the start.
