I've heard a few people complain how expensive DE and autoX is....... so just thought I'd post this e-mail which I've just received today from my former Cobra club rep in the UK ... advertising a cheap track day

An Arrive and drive trackday is taking place at Snetterton on Saturday 16th December at a cost of just £25 per 25 minute session. You can purchase as many 25 minute sessions as you wish. Full briefing and familiarisation lap bahind instructor will be given.Tyrells restaurant will be open as well as pit lane soup and rolls. There will be novice and experienced sessions - all driver abilities welcome. More details go to www.snetterton.co.uk  I think a good lap time is about 1.30min ish, so there would be time enough for a good blast.

Pounds 25 is about $45 .. for 25 min track timeConfusedhock:

yes, but this is not the UK and gas costs less than an arm and a first born child.

so does that mean it is REALLY expensive in UK or just that it is REALLY cheap in the US??

Gas is sooooooo cheap over here - so cheap I often sit at traffic lights, knock my SUV into neutral and rev the engine to hear the V8 ... just cos gas is soooooo cheap!

The UK is expensive. We've gotta get you calibrated. Many of us can still remember when gas cost less than a dollar. Smile
