Hi all!

Dover Air Force Base is hosting it's Wings & Wheels car show next Saturday, July 18th. There's a group of Porches meeting up at Winner Porsche in Newark DE for a drive to the show (at 8 am). They're looking to get a dedicated Porsche parking area.  Have not been to the show, but heard from some folks that went last year that it was a lot of fun (with some really cool Air Force planes). Has anyone gone to this show before? Heard that it's a lot of street rods and antiques.

Anyone in the southern end of our region interested in going?

Haven't heard from any other Riesentoters, but if you'd like to go it's an official Delaware region event, so I would guess that there will be a few cars. I went with them last weekend to the Deutsche Classic outside Reading and there were about 10 cars in caravan. Just go to their region website for more details. I think it's going to be a fun day. Hope to see you there.Smile

Just got back from the show. What a day. Over 300 cars! We had six Porsches plus one Tesla caravan down from Winner Porsche on some (almost) empty back roads through Delaware. When we got to the show we all were able to park in a row under an Air Force transport plane (good thing, we needed the shade!). I'm definitely going to save a date on the calendar for this next year!Cool
