I had vinyl numbers created by a sign company in West Chester (can't remember the name right now) that you would wet and apply to the inside of the rear side window. They worked for about three events. The water bond broke down and eventually the numbers were flying around in my car and ended up having to tape them in place.
Most folks that have the large magnet numbers seem to eventually have issues with wind resistance. They end up having to tape the leading edge so they don't blow away.
I then used painter's tape while I did further research until one of my fellow RTR's told me my tape numbers were ghetto (see avatar). He then gave me extra numbers from a set of that he bought for $5 at Walmart (we had no conflicting numbers). Put them on the outside of my rear windows and they remain there to this day. I drive my car on the street without issue. They are 4" in height and white.
