I have spoken with the Track chair regarding some added perks at the upcoming MAW event.  I brought  in a Pro coach in the past and it has worked out well for advanced drivers/racers.   I would like to see if there is any interest in the following opportunities:

1.  Pro coach for upper run groups moving towards racing or just getting faster.  This includes DAS analysis, car setup, classroom, and one-on-one in car training.  Some of the coaches fee would go to MAW.  The idea is a pilot program to offer more opportunities at future events.

2.  For advanced to intermediate students.  Auctioning out personal time of Instructors  to work  directly at the track learning advanced skills for improved lap times and or transitioning into racing. Example would be car better car setup ,  increased trail braking,  DAS analysis, increasing lapping pace.   We could tailor this to specific needs of the driver(s).  This would be to further MAW funding.

For #2 are you suggesting that instructors would work with white/black students?

Bob,

I like the idea, but would like more particulars, such as fees.

The personal coaching seems better than classroom since it would cater to individual needs such as racing, improving lap times or DAS.

Darren,

Not specifically white/black, but definitely the focus.  Geza, one on one in the car with debriefing.  Classroom would be discussing more advanced skills and car dynamics, suspension setup/tire pressures-temps.

I am attending another Pro-coach training session that will racing and DE skill level.  My intentions are to pass along what I have learned to interested drivers (excluding those that intend to race against me in GTS3 Smile).
