I recently answered the RTR call for assistance with the Rally program. Accordingly, I'm posting to request that anyone interested in assisting with running a rally or just participating drop me a line. Once we have some interest, I'll arrange a meeting to kick things off. No experience necessary, in fact without it, you'll fit right in.
The last RTR rally in May 2009 was a great success with over 20 teams participating in a run through approximately 50 miles of lower Montgomery County. My initial goal is to run at least one similar rally this year, perhaps in another part of our region.
In the mean time, I have accumulated the attached schedule of rallies for 2010. If you plan on attending one or more of these, use this forum to let others know.
Also, we're not talking WRC style rallying although I too often slip into off-roading at our DE's: http://www.wrc.com
This is our style of rallying: http://www.therallyeclub.org
