Any word on how our boys did down in FL??

Darren told me that both the GSR and the BMW finished. The first goal is having fun and the team did that. At the end in the last stint Justin needed brake pads and tires badly. He could have stayed out but the team decided to fix the issues, costing 4 or 5 places. Who cares really if we're 14th or 19th?  That goes out the window when we're top 5 but we weren't in this case.

Remarkably good coverage! Darren appears with the GSR at 0:47. Also at 1:03 for a second or two.  *Maybe* in the background behind Bill Reily at 1:25? Also, flashes across the screen for an instant at 1:29.  Don't blink.

"but, uh, when you blow a head gasket, that'll definitely take you outta the race... real quick." Actually, the GSR blew a head gasket in the first and second races both, and we still managed to get it going again.

Yes, we did have a good time, worked our butts off, 2 cars consumed more than $1000.00 of fuel.  After the race, we celebrated the fact that we finished and the new year.  By noon of the 1st of the year, most everyone was packed and gone.  That afternoon, I checked into a motel, had my first shower in 4 days and managed to pass out for 12 hours just to catch a flight back to Philly at 6 am.  I can cross this off my BUCKET list, 99 to go...........hock::dude:
