Why did Thunderbolt not make the 2011 DE Calendar?

Just curious why RTR is not running a DE event at Thunderbolt this year.  Last year's 3 day weekend was a fantastic event and it's a shame we won't be back on the track as a club this season...

I think NJMP asked too much money... But I agree that T-bolt last year was an excellent event!

Yeah, disappointing... I can't think they ask for less at Lightning but I may be wrong. Lucky I'm doing the David Murry Track Days on July 5th + 6th at T'bolt.

I think there are three reasons RTR isnt doint T-Bolt.  They are in no particular order:

1.  $$$

2. $$$

3.  And lastly, $$$

By the way, nice avatar.  That car looks like it would be really slow and even put me to sleep.  I guess that makes it a "sleeper".

It is $$$ and the proximity of the RTR date to the Delaware Clubs date that makes it not work for RTR. We are however going to be at Summit main track instead and that will surely be a fun fall event. Don't miss it!

I will take Summit Point Main over T-Bolt any day.  I am going there next month with Todd Reid coaching me to get ready for our fall event.  Just wanted to give all my new white group brothers (and sisters) fair notice.
