High Lift Garage Door Conversion

Greetings,

I am exploring adding a parking lift to my garage but, if I do, will need to convert my garage door to a high lift door. Has anyone done this or know the best approach? I'm finding conflicting information on the web on the best way to do this and hoped there was someone here with direct experience in doing such a conversion.
