The question is.... Should replace the clutch with the OEM Sachs Clutch or is there a better clutch to use?

I think you would bennefit from going to the G50 to the 915 tranny,...
Seriously though, if not already done, you should switch the rubber center clutch disc for the sping type.

I think I'll keep the G50
One of the previous owners had already installed the spring centered clutch disc and the upgraded clutch release fork. So the standard OEM stuff is done.

Unless you are going with something exotic, like a lightened flywheel or hopped up engine, I would stick with the Sachs. Seems to be the standard.

Ian,
I recomend for you to keep the Sachs cluth, but if you want a bit more bite, get their "sport clutch"...... you will be able to launch the car like I do mine.

New clutch arrived today.... standard Sachs. Now I have to put the engine back together so I can install it.
