I think I'm still in denial and hoping that it was some kind of a joke... highly doubtful. 

And I just got a room 4 days ago... non-refundable!  OK, screw that, but I've been looking forward to this for a while...  (sob)

Anyone know if NNJR DE the following weekend is also cancelled??

I cancelled my room and the hotel told me that they have a bunch of other cancellations also from other groups so certainly check it out.

I just cancelled a B&B just 2 miles from the track. Hope I get the deposit back, or at least credit for some other time.

Well, I was able to cancel the motel booking even though it was supposed to be non-refundable. We'll see if they actually refund the money.

But I didn't really care about that... really sad that our event got canceled. Unfortunate.

That's the one. Were you booked there too? They said someone going to the glen was also staying there when we booked.

I have been staying there for years, whenever I drove at the Glen (including the event plagued by rain earlier this year), but I was keenly disappointed that for the RTR July event I had a scheduling conflict and could not attend -- so of course I didn't have reservations there for later this month.  If you haven't stayed there before, I don't think you'll be at all disappointed when you finally do.  Becky makes an unbelievable breakfast.
