Had a cameo appearance of our ex-autocross chair, Steve, in his GT3.  We represented RTR and unoffically Steve got 4th place and I got 5th (out of 19).

I also beat my son John.  Had my three (3) runs, then it was his turn.  Darn, a flat tire.  A win is a win...oh never mind, maybe next time.  Good to know the spare still works after 25 years.

Good to see you guys had fun. I was planning on attending, but when i returned from vacation on Saturday afternoon, I had to deal with vandalism issues at my house,... not fun at all .

Now, who would beat a GT3?  steve, are you running on street tires?  No sense taking a Magnum 44 with 22 caliber loads to a gunfight.

street tires and street brake pads - car was great fun but understeering like crazy

I was beaten by a fully prepped corvette race car (?C5 model?? same as Jon Myers now has) and a big lass in a C6 on hoosiers who had an extra 200 lbs over me pressing the car into the ground for more mechanical grip. Not sure about #3.

the good news is that based on the current scoring system, getting 4th place in a non-sanctioned, non-porsche, amish/mennonite corvette club event gets me 1027 points and I'm now leading the championship ;-)

McMorn!  Throw away that toy, Miata on defective steroids, and come play with the big boys.  I believe that CPA is having the Corvette challenge in September, we need your help to beat the fast corvettes.  Your car will need better shoes.

Brakes, don't worry about, they are over rated anyway and only used sparingly to balance the car in AX
